Escalin is a crushed quality, where the weft yarn's coarseness artfully contrasts with the warp yarn, resulting in a captivating crushed effect. On the wall it appears delicately wavy but is in fact entirely flat. The surface is embossed after, giving rise to a textured surface that beckons you to run your fingers across its alluring patterns.
